Founded in 1994, Gomes Equestre is a Portuguese company specialized in the manufacturing and sales of equestrian products. With roots dating back three generations, the company keeps alive a long family tradition in the art of working with fine raw materials, combining craftsmanship with the excellence of the products it offers.
The partners and owners, António Patrício Gomes and Virgílio Patrício Gomes, lead the project with dedication, continuing the family legacy and promoting the value of national craftsmanship in the equestrian sector.
The factory and main store are in Meirinhas, near the IC2 (National Road 1), a strategic location that facilitates access for customers from all regions of the country. The brand is also present in Golegã — known as the capital of the horse — with a second store that reinforces its strong connection to the national equestrian world.
Initially focused on producing items for agricultural work, Gomes Equestre has, over the years, specialized in the manufacture of equestrian equipment, particularly traditional Portuguese saddles and bridles, as well as various accessories such as hardware, buckles, and decorations — all handcrafted with the utmost precision and attention to detail.
Each piece is made from high-quality raw materials, respecting traditional manufacturing methods, ensuring durability, comfort, and aesthetics.
